We have our immunizations. Our rxs. Some new clothes for the cutest little boy in all of Africa. Some temporary courage lent by Our Father in Heaven. Now we pray and wait.

The first day was pure shock and joy. We giggled and laughed and giggled some more. We couldn't stop smiling. I literally jumped up and down. We didn't see any photos at first, just heard the details. Every little detail is so crazy precious. But 75% of that first phone call went right out the second ear. My work day was shot. We went to a local christian cafe nearby and had lunch together. We just sat there giggling at each other and reviewing what we knew so far. And just big eyed shock. And more giggling.
The next day or two was even more emotional. Mostly tears. As you review the details. Learn the history. Know the story. It. Breaks. Your. Heart. I cried. and cried. and cried. I had so much joy in the future, but so much sadness for the past. Wishing I could have done something sooner to stop it.
The following days and weeks of preparation are mostly anxious focus. There is so much to do no matter how long until you leave. So many what ifs.
No details - but we love him. He is beautiful. God is good.

I can't wait to see more pics.
I can't wait to hear how the drive went.
I can't wait to see mr a hold him.
I can't wait to hear his voice
I can't wait to snuggle him.
I can't wait to pray with him.
I can't wait to smell him.
I can't wait to hear those words
I can't wait to tuck him in
I can't wait to watch him sleep
I can't wait to play legos with him
I can't wait to bring him to the beach
I can't wait to watch him and mr a eat ice cream
I can't wait to see him play with his cousins
I can't wait to see my parents meet him
I can't wait to be the one he calls for
I can't wait to teach him things
I can't wait to see who he will be
I can't wait to talk to him about the Lord
I can't wait to read to him.
I cant wait to see him see how loved he is.
I clearly can't wait

I recently found out that Walgreens has a prescription savings program and wanted to share that with you. If anyone in your family takes even just one prescription monthly this will pay off for you with the discount they currently are running on the annual program.
The Walgreens Prescription Savings Club is currently on sale for only $35 for the family membership. The family membership works for you, your spouse, your dependents (as only as they are under 23) and any pets in your family. If you are an individual the cost is only $20 for the whole year! Once you join the program you will get discount prices on your prescriptions. If you have any type of regular prescriptions that you take this will give you huge savings.
There are a number of benefits included in the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club. One of the benefits is that you will receive a discount on more than 8,000 brand-name medications, and any generics. If you have a specific medication that you take regularly, then you should check with your local Walgreens and see if its on their list. You will also receive discounts on your flu shots, nebulizers and any diabetic supplies. You will also receive bonuses when you purchase Walgreens brand products and also on the photofinishing services.
